"AJ shot our engagement photos in August, and I'm obsessed. I picked him for two reasons: 1) I knew he would listen to what we wanted 2) I knew he had the personality to get us smiling/work with our awkwardness in front of the camera. He definitely came through on both points. We wanted a natural/country feel, and he took us on a few hikes through Shawnee Mission Park to find some beautiful unique spots I'd never seen before. He was happy/excited to shoot some poses/ideas I knew I'd wanted to do, but also had a bunch of his own ideas that he brought to the table, which I ended up loving.
